Welcome to Medical Physics Working Group

The Medical Physics Working Group (MPWG) is a group dedicated to the research and teaching of Medical Physics at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED). The group works on three main research lines: cardiology, oncology and medical imaging. Concerning teaching, the group supports the Master in Medical Physics of the Faculty of Sciences since 2008. The group members lecture 20 out of the of 30 subjects in the entire Master.

The MPWG works closely with the LMAI (Laboratory for Advanced Imaging Measurements), which is an associate laboratory of the Research Laboratory Network of the Community of Madrid (Ref. 45).
